Job Requirements
- Experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties preferably in a spa setting
- Successful completion of hazardous material and bloodborne pathogens training within 3 to 6 months
- Ability to perform physical activities including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire shift
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work any day of the week including occasional additional hours
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals including citrus acid based agents
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience performing positively and achieving objective-based results
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
- Experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties, specifically in a spa setting, is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with floor care machines such as buffers and extractors is preferred
- Ability to follow safety procedures and identify unsafe practices
- Strong communication skills for maintaining good public relations
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Removes all trash on a continuous basis through the casino and spa including the floors between slot machines and trash receptacles
- Operates and maintains various cleaning equipment and provides employees with cleaning equipment and premixed chemicals
- Cleans and maintains the outside appearance of the casinos including snow and ice removal
- Monitors all parking lots for trash removal, sweeping cigarette trash, and emptying outdoor smoking receptacles
- Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors within the casino and spa
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains guest and employee restrooms ensuring they are stocked with personal products
- Cleans and sanitizes spa treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, lobby, wet rooms, pool deck, fitness center, and yoga room
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment by performing duties in compliance with safety procedures and using safety equipment
- Maintains good public relations with guests and employees while enhancing safety and providing a source of information for guests
- Ensures reliable and punctual attendance during scheduled work hours
