Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds
  • availability to work any day of the week including occasional additional hours
  • completion of hazardous material and bloodborne pathogens training within 3-6 months
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals with citrus acid base
  • ability to use floor care machines
  • capacity to work with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience performing positively and achieving objective-based results
  • demonstrated experience in problem-solving organizing and prioritizing work
  • experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties preferably in a spa setting
  • knowledge and experience with floor care machines such as buffers and extractors
  • successful completion of hazardous material and bloodborne pathogens training within 3-6 months
  • ability to follow safety procedures and work independently
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Removes all trash on a continuous basis through the casino and spa, operates and maintains various cleaning equipment, provides employees with cleaning equipment and premixed chemicals as required, cleans and maintains the outside appearance of the casinos including snow and ice removal, monitors all parking lots for trash removal and emptying outdoor smoking receptacles, vacuums sweeps and mops floors within the casino and spa, cleans sanitizes and maintains guest and employee restrooms ensuring they are stocked, cleans and sanitizes spa treatment rooms relaxation areas locker rooms lobby wet rooms pool deck fitness center yoga room, maintains a clean and safe work environment following safety procedures, maintains good public relations with guests and employees while enhancing safety
