Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous maintenance experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to operate hand tools and cleaning equipment safely
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist other departments
- Awareness of safety practices and compliance with OSHA standards
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if operating a vehicle or golf cart
Job Duties
- Clean common areas including offices, laundry facilities, hallways, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned areas
- Ensure exterior walks and stairs are free of hazards
- Assist in maintaining storage and maintenance shops
- Report to work on time with a neat and professional appearance or uniform and maintain courtesy towards residents and co-workers
- Check cleanliness of common areas, parking lots, trash enclosures, playgrounds, and pool areas throughout the day
- Transport trash and waste to disposal areas
- Replenish bathroom supplies, replace light bulbs, and operate cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, carpet cleaners, blowers, and high-pressure hoses
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for move-in by performing light cleaning and debris removal
- Adhere to safety standards and report safety concerns to maintenance supervisors
- Assist management staff with resident social activities, posting notices, and marketing materials
- Travel to other properties as needed while providing own transportation if outside the state
- Manage and properly store cleaning chemicals and ensure tools are secured at maintenance facilities
