Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive customer vehicles safely
- Experience in automotive dealership or similar environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand walk and move throughout the service area for extended periods
- Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings
Job Qualifications
- Able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
- Knowledge skill and/or ability to perform required tasks
- Ability to work in a safe manner
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks motor vehicle records drug test credit report and valid driver license
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly upbeat professional attitude answer their questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location
- Determine if customers coming into service have an appointment record customer's name VIN tag number mileage and existing vehicle damage
- Control service traffic flow parking and assist with loaner vehicles as needed park vehicles after they have been written up
- Drive safely and report any lot damage immediately maintain zero lot damage
- Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up wait at vehicle for customer thank customers for their business
- Install disposable seat covers steering wheel covers floor mats and ID tags in all vehicles taken in for service
- Deliver keys and repair order hard copies to the appropriate Service Advisor immediately after parking a vehicle
- Maintain a clean and safe service drive area free of trash water leaves and dirt
- Drive vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed
- Make key tags for vehicles
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
