Job Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen
- must be able to successfully pass a background check
- must have a valid driver license
- must not have any DUI or felony convictions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver license
- prior experience in automotive lot attendant or similar role preferred
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and cleaning procedures
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- familiarity with dealership branded materials and inventory management
- ability to follow safety protocols and maintain professional conduct
Job Duties
- Follow the Everyday HERO program in every aspect of the role
- ensure all inventory is properly displayed on the lot and showroom
- rearrange front line inventory daily for maximum curb appeal and vehicle awareness
- fill open spaces immediately
- ensure all vehicle lines are uniform
- display required forms and stickers properly
- inspect and start every vehicle on the lot weekly and address cleanliness and reconditioning issues
- log issues that require additional attention and remove vehicles not meeting standards
- rearrange entire inventory monthly per sales management instructions
- clean vehicles purchased when detailers are unavailable
- apply interior and exterior protectants when requested
- refuel vehicles as needed
- inspect vehicles delivered via freight and report all problems
- maintain display products like balloons and flags
- keep the lot free of trash
- assist with transportation of vehicles, team members, and guests as directed
- manage stock of dealership branded materials and alert management for replenishment
- clean Courtesy Transportation Program and dealership-owned vehicles regularly
- maintain car wash according to instructions
- check dumpster enclosure daily and maintain cleanliness
- assist with special displays and other facility maintenance tasks
- perform any other activities assigned by management contributing to profitability
