Job Duties
- Assist Service Advisors by greeting customers on the drive and moving vehicles through the lot as quickly as possible
- Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and tags in all vehicles taken in for service
- Inspect for and record on the repair order any vehicle damage present when the vehicle is taken in for service
- Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot
- Deliver the keys and repair order hard copies as instructed by the Service Manager after parking a vehicle in the service parking lot
- Make sure all vehicles in the service parking lot are kept locked and that all windows are rolled up
- Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the Service Department
- Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the Cashier
- Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been done during the vehicle's stay in the Service Department
- Remove seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tabs prior to returning a completed vehicle to a customer
- Clean vehicles thoroughly for grease spots or any other stains or debris left by the Service Department
- Thank customers in a friendly and courteous manner when delivering completed vehicles
- Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner and keep the parking areas free of debris
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the facilities
- Perform limited grounds maintenance such as trimming hedges and cleaning sidewalks
- Other duties as assigned by management
