Job Requirements
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Ability to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently
- Capability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally able to lift or move up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- One to three months of stock clerk, steward, or related experience preferred
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
- Ability to interpret bar graphs
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping abilities
Job Duties
- Monitor all deliveries and verify invoices and product quality
- Inspect products upon delivery for quality, temperature, and condition
- Report faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately to management
- Receive, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies appropriately
- Perform proper rotation of food and beverage products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and delivery areas
- Track deliveries and inventory to identify items for reorder
- Return and sort dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and linen
- Break down and dispose of boxes properly
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
