Job Requirements

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Ability to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently
  • Capability to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally able to lift or move up to 100 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • One to three months of stock clerk, steward, or related experience preferred
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Ability to interpret bar graphs
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and good record-keeping abilities

Job Duties

  • Monitor all deliveries and verify invoices and product quality
  • Inspect products upon delivery for quality, temperature, and condition
  • Report faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately to management
  • Receive, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies appropriately
  • Perform proper rotation of food and beverage products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and delivery areas
  • Track deliveries and inventory to identify items for reorder
  • Return and sort dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and linen
  • Break down and dispose of boxes properly
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
