Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- reliable and punctual
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and operate cleaning equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
- ability to work independently and efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively
- physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods of time
- flexible schedule availability including weekends and evenings
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting and wiping down various surfaces throughout the facility
- empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins in designated areas
- maintain cleanliness in and around event spaces and courts
- monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs to the appropriate manager
- assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces including arranging furniture removing trash and performing post-event cleaning
- ability to repair minor issues observed during cleaning duties
- adhere to safety protocols and guidelines using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- provide assistance to guests or employees who require directions or other basic information
- maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with guests and staff members
