Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in cleaning and maintenance of fitness or wellness spaces
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in New York, New York
- Flexible schedule to meet operational needs
- Customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Ability to connect and engage with others and communicate efficiently and effectively
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of the health, fitness, and wellness industry
- Three years of experience maintaining and cleaning an amenity space, preferably a fitness center or gym
- Physical ability to perform all required tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong team alignment and focus skills
- Discipline and willingness to complete necessary tasks
- Passion for solving difficult problems and doing tasks that others will not
- Desire for growth and taking on increasing responsibilities
Job Duties
- Maintain a beautiful space including setting up for fitness classes, cleaning equipment, laundering towels, tidying locker rooms, conducting daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed by fitness center management
- Welcome and assist all residents and members in a friendly and professional manner
- Greet members with enthusiasm and energy to enhance the member experience
- Contribute to the team, member experience, and community building efforts
- Support fitness center operations by performing various tasks as needed
