Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience
  • ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy equipment
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to follow safety and fair housing laws
  • willingness to work weekends and on call
  • valid driver's license preferred

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in groundskeeping, maintenance or a related field preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor
  • basic knowledge of safety procedures and property maintenance
  • good communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and on call

Job Duties

  • maintains positive resident relations through superior service
  • inspects grounds, buildings and community features multiple times daily to identify and correct hazards and maintain appearance
  • fulfills resident service requests according to company policy with high customer service standards
  • monitors service request turnaround time and responsiveness
  • assists with unit inspections for move-in readiness and make-ready processes
  • performs turn related duties as assigned
  • lifts and works with heavy equipment as needed
  • promptly reports safety or maintenance concerns to maintenance supervisor
  • participates in daily property operations
  • maintains preventative maintenance program to extend community life and minimize repairs
  • performs after hour and weekend on call duties as assigned
  • cleans grounds, pool, leasing office, and common areas
  • adheres to company policy and relevant safety and fair housing laws
  • performs hands on repair and upkeep
