Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy items
  • Strong positive attitude toward customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to follow safety and health guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude towards customer service
  • Genuine interest in geriatric care

Job Duties

  • Perform routine and periodic cleaning of common and non-residential areas including floor care
  • Remove trash from grounds and facilities
  • Wash windows and clean resident carpets
  • Assist with move-in preparation and moving furniture
  • Support cleanup of spills, leaks, floods, and fire emergencies
  • Maintain work area compliance with OSHA safety standards
  • Demonstrate community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates, and vendors
