Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- minimum 1-3 years experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods during an 8-hour shift
- willingness to assist with move-in preparations and occasional furniture moving
- adherence to OSHA safety standards
- positive attitude with strong customer service orientation
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED preferred but not required
- preferred minimum experience of 1-3 years in housekeeping, preferably in hospitality or health care environment
- ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour workday
- genuine interest in geriatric care and positive attitude toward customer service
- good communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with staff and residents
Job Duties
- Perform both routine and periodic cleaning of common or non-residential areas such as corridors, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and utility rooms according to prescribed standards and guidelines
- provide floor care including vacuuming, extracting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and spot cleaning
- remove trash from facilities and police grounds for litter
- wash windows and provide resident assistance with carrying baggage
- clean resident carpets and assist housekeeper in resident homes when needed
- support cleanup efforts for leaks, spills, floods, and fire emergencies
- maintain work area and ensure department compliance with OSHA safety standards
- demonstrate community hospitality promises toward residents, families, associates, and vendors
