Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in housekeeping or similar role
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time during shifts
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- Compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Willingness to work full-time at the Longhorn Village location in Austin, TX
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED preferred
- Experience of 1-3 years in housekeeping, preferably in hospitality or health care environment
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Strong positive attitude toward customer service
- Genuine interest in geriatric care and working with senior adults
- Ability to motivate and maintain positive relationships with staff and residents
Job Duties
- Perform routine and periodic cleaning of common and non-residential areas including corridors, restrooms, offices, and break rooms
- Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, buffing, and spot cleaning
- Remove trash and litter from facilities and grounds
- Wash windows and clean resident carpets
- Assist with move-in preparations and move furniture or appliances as needed
- Support cleanup efforts for leaks, spills, floods, and fire incidents
- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and keep the work area organized and safe
- Demonstrate community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates, and vendors
