Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a related role preferred
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to safely handle cleaning tools and equipment
- Willingness to comply with safety guidelines including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Must be able to legally work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous porter, houseman, warehouse, or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to abide by company policies and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to personal and team safety
Job Duties
- Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are swept and prepped during peak service times
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils using trays, bus tubs or carts
- Washes dishes, glasses and pots and cleans cooking stations and equipment maintaining sanitation standards
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine
- Keeps display equipment clean and complies with all safety and sanitation standards
- Helps receive heavy deliveries and transports them to storage areas following safe lifting standards
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
