Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to follow established cleaning protocols and procedures
- Physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including mopping and vacuuming
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to maintain all equipment in good working order
- Willingness to perform assigned cleaning duties promptly and thoroughly
Job Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
- Ability to follow established EVS policy and procedures
- Capable of performing routine and repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to keep equipment in good working condition
- Ability to perform situational duties assigned by supervisor
- Hospital experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Perform terminal cleaning of OR suites including mopping and wet vacuuming of floors
- Clean anesthesia carts and equipment
- Disinfect patient monitors, OR beds, reusable table straps, and positioning devices
- Clean overhead procedure lights, tables, mayo stands, and mobile/fixed equipment
- Sanitize storage cabinets, supply carts, furniture, light switches, door handles, and push plates
- Disinfect telephones, mobile communication devices, and computer accessories
- Empty and clean trash and linen receptacles
- Perform routine cleaning functions as assigned
- Maintain hospital sanitation according to EVS standards
