Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of recent experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficiency in operation and care of high-speed buffer, auto scrubber, rotary scrubber, and wet/dry suction equipment
- ability to read and write English
- ability to work rotating weekend and holiday shifts
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including use of scaffolding
Job Qualifications
- One year of recent experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficiency in operation and care of cleaning equipment
- ability to read and write English
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned areas and buildings
- follow all infection control regulations and guidelines
- operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffers, auto scrubbers, rotary scrubbers, and wet/dry suction equipment
- uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
- work scheduled shifts including rotating weekends and holidays
- ensure safety and cleanliness of hospital environment
- assist with occasional use of scaffolding for cleaning tasks
