Job Requirements
- Recent one year of experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficiency in the operation and care of department equipment such as high-speed buffer, auto scrubber, rotary scrubber, wet/dry suction equipment, scaffolding
- ability to read and write English
- willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
- ability to work biweekly 80-hour schedule
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
Job Qualifications
- One year of recent experience in an Environmental Services Department
- proficient in operation and care of cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffer, auto scrubber, rotary scrubber, wet/dry suction equipment, scaffolding
- ability to read and write English
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and service assigned areas and buildings
- follow all infection control regulations and guidelines
- operate and care for cleaning equipment such as high-speed buffers, auto scrubbers, rotary scrubbers, wet/dry suction equipment, and scaffolding
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in patient and staff areas
- support the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
- perform routine inspections to ensure cleaning tasks are completed
- handle cleaning supplies and equipment responsibly
