Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in property maintenance or custodial duties preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and carry up to 25 pounds independently
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on call
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver weights up to 50 pounds with assistance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or custodial work preferred
- Valid driver's license required to operate golf carts on property
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical labor
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Job Duties
- Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
- Ensures all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Removes trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process
- Transfers trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable
- Cleans and maintains storage areas
- Completes assigned minor and routine service requests
- Assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Changes all locks in accordance with the property's policy
- Ensures gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
- Distributes notices and communications to residents
- Informs appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation
- Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents with respect and responding to complaints sensitively
- Complies with Greystar's safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required OSHA training, and reporting accidents promptly
