Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry, and crawl in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on call
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or to assist other properties
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Experience in property maintenance or similar roles preferred
- Customer service skills with ability to interact respectfully with residents
- Basic knowledge of safety and risk management policies
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in varied weather
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on call as required
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area, and clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by supervisors and assist in the make-ready process
- Change locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates are functioning and meet safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Report hazards or dangerous situations to appropriate supervisors
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect and responding to maintenance complaints
- Comply with safety and risk management policies including attending safety meetings and reporting incidents promptly
