Job Requirements
- High school degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred
- Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in hot and steamy environments
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and soiled trays
Job Qualifications
- High school degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred
- Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to perform arm-hand steadiness and hand-eye coordination skills
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Transports food and supplies to various locations in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintains assigned department areas and equipment in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
- Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and the achievement of excellence by following departmental and hospital guidelines
- Brews and pours hot beverages
- Removes trash from the department
- Supplies clean trays, dishes, flatware and food items
- Delivers and picks up coffee carts as assigned
