This opportunity is for the role of a Porter at the Mount Sinai West campus, located at 1090 Amsterdam Avenue in the Porter Building 1090. The position is a full-time evening role with work hours from 4 PM to 12 AM. The porter plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of MSMC Residential Realty buildings, including apartments and common areas, to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for tenants and visitors. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
- some general work experience
- ability to work full-time evening shifts from 4pm to 12am
- ability to perform physical cleaning and housekeeping duties

Job Duties
- Assist superintendent and handyperson in repairs as needed
- assist in emergency work and special assignments designated to superintendent
- perform general cleaning of vacant apartments for move-in
- clean appliances in apartments after tenant move-out
- clean common areas including sweeping and mopping floors in hallways, lobby, and laundry rooms
- bundle and remove garbage and recyclables to designated sidewalk locations for sanitation pickup
- maintain a neat appearance and wear uniform
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
