Levain Bakery is a celebrated bakery founded in 1995 by Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, two competitive triathletes and passionate bakers who left their previous careers to start a small bread shop in New York City. Job Requirements
- Previous custodian or porter experience in f and b or retail preferred
- Open availability ability to work mornings nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds including overhead
- Stand and walk for an 8-hour shift excluding a hour break some locations require walking up and down stairs

Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the store including customer areas restrooms and workspaces throughout the shift
- Sweep floors and sidewalk mop and dust areas where needed
- Communicate any maintenance issues to leaders and management
- Wash sanitize restock dishes trays baking tools and other supplies
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff ensuring all surfaces floors and equipment are clean and sanitized
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of bakery displays and equipment
- Empty trash in bathrooms workstations and customer-facing areas throughout the day
