Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- no previous maintenance experience required
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- dependable and reliable work ethic
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- valid driver's license and current auto insurance if vehicle use is required
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- willing to work varied schedules including weekends and evenings
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- ability to comply with safety and OSHA standards
- ability to travel to other community locations when necessary

Job Duties
- Cleaning common areas including offices, laundry facilities, hallways, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms
- ensuring exterior walks and stairs are hazard-free
- maintaining storage and maintenance shops with proper chemical storage
- reporting to work on time with professional appearance
- checking common areas, parking lots, trash enclosures, playgrounds, pool areas for cleanliness throughout the day
- transporting trash and waste to disposal areas
- replenishing bathroom supplies, replacing light bulbs, and using cleaning machinery
- operating blowers and high-pressure hoses for cleaning assigned areas
- assisting in preparing vacant apartments by light cleaning and debris removal
- adhering to TAM Residential safety standards
- traveling to other TAM communities as needed
- informing supervisors of safety or emergency concerns
- assisting management with resident social activities and marketing postings
