Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- Minimum of three years experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or related
- Ability to do simple math
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to work with others in a union team environment
- Physically fit to carry, push or pull 50 pounds
- Able to work in an industrial and chemical environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- Minimum of three years experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or directly related experience/education highly preferred
- Ability to do simple math
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a union team environment
- Ability to follow directions and be self-motivated
Job Duties
- Provide janitorial services in an industrial and chemical area
- Clean restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and lunch rooms including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, and general housekeeping
- Maintain inventory of towels and coveralls and restock paper products
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and mix cleaning solutions per manufacturer instructions
- Adhere to all plant safety and governmental regulations and attend mandatory training
- Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
- Ensure cleanliness supports safe and healthy working conditions
