Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • basic computer skills
  • knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting 100+ lbs
  • ability to work outdoors in varied weather
  • capability to operate motor vehicles and golf carts
  • willingness to work overtime, weekends, and nights when required
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and use equipment safely
  • capable of working in confined spaces and various physical positions

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • basic computer skills and ability to perform on-site software functions
  • knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • experience in property maintenance preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to operate machinery and power tools safely
  • good physical condition for manual labor

  • ability to follow safety procedures and policies

Job Duties

  • Assist in community maintenance
  • attend onsite regularly
  • clean grounds, trash removal, maintain residential and common areas
  • respond timely to resident and management requests and work orders
  • ensure repairs and replacements in community areas and units
  • perform exterior daily cleanup including grounds and breezeways
  • maintain swimming pool and chemical logs
  • inspect grounds and buildings to identify hazards
  • uphold preventative maintenance programs
  • follow Asset Living key policies
  • organize and stock maintenance shop meeting safety standards and OSHA
  • assist maintenance supervisor with hazard communication and safe practices
  • participate in unit inspections
  • report rule violations to supervisors
  • use property resources economically
  • perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors
  • provide excellent customer service and monitor responsiveness
  • project favorable community image
  • ensure consistent resident interactions
  • enforce delegated community policies
