Job Requirements
- Previous cleaning or dishwasher experience
- Ability to work full-time schedule including afternoon and closing shifts
- Willingness to follow safety protocols
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to comply with HACCP and sanitation standards
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or dishwashing experience
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work varied shifts including afternoons and evenings
- Commitment to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Physical ability to handle manual labor and lifting
- Adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are cleared and swept during peak service times and prepped prior to service
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from front of the house to kitchen area using trays, bus tubs or carts
- Washes dishes, glasses and pots
- cleans cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation standards
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Keeps display equipment clean and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Assists in receiving heavy deliveries and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing safe lifting practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures while following HACCP standards
- Commits personally to safety of self and others
- Abides by company policies including use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
