Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- previous experience in food service, hospitality, event operations, or facility support preferred
- ability to follow company policies and safety standards
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods
- availability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical capability to perform repetitive eye/hand coordination tasks
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- previous experience in food service, hospitality, event operations, or facility support preferred
- experience in a convention center, banquet, or high-volume service environment is a plus
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
- ability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with food and beverage staff
- ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced event environment
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and operational needs
- ability to communicate effectively in English and understand instructions and guest requests
- ability to work in a hands-on role with frequent interaction with staff and guests
- basic understanding of workplace safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout all food and beverage areas
- support banquet and concessions operations by transporting food, beverages, equipment, and supplies to designated areas
- assist with pre-event and post-event setup and breakdown of food and beverage service areas
- collect, clean, and store food service equipment, utensils, and service items
- assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage, rotation, labeling, and dating products
- maintain clean and organized storage areas in accordance with company and health standards
- move inventory, products, and equipment throughout the facility as needed
- transport ice, food products, and beverage supplies to service locations
- clean spills promptly and maintain safe, hazard-free work areas
- restock supplies and assist with pulling inventory as needed
- follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- provide support to food and beverage teams to ensure efficient event operations
- perform other duties as assigned
