Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting over 100 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call emergency shifts
  • Ability to operate machinery and power tools
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety standards and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to perform on-site software functions
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Experience in property or community maintenance preferred
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • Regular/daily onsite attendance
  • Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, and community common areas
  • Respond to resident/management requests and work orders
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and replacements
  • Inspect grounds and property features for hazards
  • Assist in preventative maintenance program
  • Follow Asset Living key policy
  • Maintain stocked and organized maintenance shop
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communications and safe work practices
  • Participate in unit inspections
  • Report rule violations
  • Utilize property resources economically
  • Perform additional tasks as requested
  • Participate in on-call emergency
  • Manage excellent customer service
  • Project favorable community image
  • Ensure consistency in resident interactions
  • Enforce community policies as delegated
