Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills
  • knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • ability to lift and move objects over 100 pounds
  • capability to work in various weather conditions and environments
  • flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies
  • physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer skills and ability to understand on-site software functions
  • knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
  • experience in maintenance or related field preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
  • responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, and community common areas
  • respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program
  • maintain a well-organized and stocked maintenance shop while adhering to safety standards
  • participate in unit inspections and report any observed violations of community rules
  • utilize property resources economically
  • participate in on-call emergency duties at the community
  • manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
