Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Ability to respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting objects over 100 lbs
  • Capability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call
  • Commitment to follow company policies and safety protocols
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including on-site software proficiency
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and safety awareness skills
  • Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery

Job Duties

  • Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
  • Support the make-ready process for units under supervision
  • Attend onsite regularly and daily
  • Clean, remove trash, and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders promptly
  • Ensure timely repairs and replacements of property features
  • Inspect grounds and community daily to identify hazards and liability issues
  • Help maintain a preventative maintenance program
  • Organize and stock maintenance shop adhering to safety and OSHA standards
  • Report violations of community rules and regulations
  • Participate in unit inspections and on-call emergencies
  • Provide excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
  • Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors
  • Utilize property resources economically
