Job Requirements
- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older at time of application
- Ability to perform janitorial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping and mopping
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Physical ability to lift, bend and stand for long periods
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with guests and supervisors
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to use commercial cleaning products safely
- Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication skills for responding to guest inquiries
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Maintain facilities and fixtures including gaming areas, lavatories, offices, storage rooms and other areas by cleaning and restocking daily
- Clean and sanitize lavatory facilities and fixtures including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, counter tops and stalls
- Replenish lavatory supplies such as toilet tissue and paper towels
- Clean offices, conference rooms, storage rooms and other areas by emptying trash, recycling receptacles, vacuuming floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Replace light bulbs and repair other fixtures as needed
- Sweep, mop, polish vinyl floors and vacuum carpets removing gum and other substances
- Identify and report janitorial maintenance needs to supervisors
- Respond to guests' questions using the Quick Reference Guide providing information on casino promotions and events
- Respond to public inquiries courteously to provide information within the area of assignment
