Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-year porter experience preferred
  • previous ground maintenance experience a plus
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
  • walking property grounds for extended periods
  • ability to work in outdoor elements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-year porter experience preferred or previous ground maintenance experience a plus
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • knowledge of safe work practices and OSHA standards
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain property grounds
  • identify maintenance issues
  • conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with OSHA standards
  • perform sweeping of hallways, walkways, and entryways
  • ensure egresses are accessible and free of clutter
  • fix minor repairs on perimeter fencing, patios, and light fixtures
  • provide support to maintenance staff by changing light bulbs, greasing hinges, changing filters, and moving furniture
