Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and cleaning procedures
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift, push, and pull heavy and awkward weights using carts and other conveyances
- Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary in order to deal effectively with hospital personnel, outside customers, and community groups

Job Duties
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of pots, pans, and utensils, and maintaining a clean and neat work area
- Responsible for surface cleaning Food Service areas: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and scrubbing of all surfaces by hand and utilizing commercial cleaning equipment
- Responsible for assisting in tasks related to receiving, storage, disbursing, and delivery of food and supplies
- Perform deep cleaning and other project work as assigned
- Responsible for trash removal and surface cleaning of trash receptacles in Food Services areas including storage, prep, and service areas, customer and physician dining
- Performs other duties as assigned
