Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying 25-50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, and use hands dexterously
- Ability to pass safety training and comply with safety regulations
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to work part-time hours Monday through Friday
- Willingness to comply with no cell phone use policy in warehouse
- Strong attendance and punctuality record
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and vendors

- Prior work experience in a warehouse setting or as a Porter preferred
Job Duties
- Clean the office space following daily, weekly and monthly schedule of tasks
- Clean bathrooms daily following sanitation log for 7 total bathrooms
- Remove all garbage from the office, kitchens and warehouse
- Walk the aisles in all three warehouses and pick up garbage
- Dust the eyewash stations and the hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the warehouse
- Pick up all broken pallets and wood and properly dispose of them
- Dust the aisle as well as cases when working in an aisle
- Run the floor scrubber 5 days a week and turn the building over every two weeks
- Pick up and empty the garbage receptacles outside of the building
- Clean the warehouse break room
- Work with team to clean up the re-coup area when needed
- Take initiative to accomplish open tasks and seek additional work proactively
- Complete safety training sessions and pass safety training tests at time of hire and annually
- Act in compliance with safety practices and report any safety concerns
- Observe no cell phone use rule in the warehouse
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas and work stations neat
- Support positive work relations and teamwork
- Communicate respectfully with employees and vendors
- Maintain regular attendance and follow call out procedures
- Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Perform all other responsibilities necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the Porter position
