Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Less than 1 year of prior experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property cleaning
Dependability and ability to follow instructions
Teamwork and positive team spirit
Ethics and integrity in work
Adherence to organizational policies and safety procedures
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English

Equivalent work experience in building cleaning
Basic understanding of safety and security procedures

Job Duties

Cleans offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
Wet- or dry-mop floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, perform pressure washing, gum and graffiti removal
Make minor repairs, painting and carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, landscaping and snow removal
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Dust furniture and equipment
Replace light bulbs
Transport small equipment or tools between departments
Set up tables and chairs in auditorium, meeting rooms or hall
