Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in janitorial or building maintenance work
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for 7 hours or more
- ability to work in various weather conditions

- willingness to follow safety protocols and instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in building maintenance or cleaning
- knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety procedures
- ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting and standing for extended periods
- good communication skills with a trauma-informed approach

- basic repair skills
- willingness to participate in ongoing training programs
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain sidewalks of the buildings up to one foot past the curb
- empty the compactor machine daily ensuring the compactor room remains clean
- sort recyclables and put out trash on collection days in designated locations
- sweep the building areas including hallways, staircases, community rooms, bathrooms, laundry room, outdoor spaces, offices, elevators, and lobby daily as needed
- mop floors in the building areas two to three times a week and as needed
- assist the Building Superintendent with simple repairs, painting, moving items, and unit turnovers
- perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing restrooms and public areas
- use cleaning equipment safely for floor maintenance such as buffing, shampooing, and stripping
- operate hand trucks, dollies, and equipment to facilitate item movement within the building
- respond to tenants in a trauma-informed manner
- attend internal trainings as scheduled
- use tools and equipment properly and safely
- work in all weather conditions
- move items up to 50 pounds
- stand for at least a 7 hour period
