Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- physical ability to carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in industrial and chemical environments
- must adhere to plant safety and government regulations
- attendance at all mandatory training sessions
- must be able to read and write English
- capability to work cooperatively in a union team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- at least three years of experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or equivalent related experience or education highly preferred
- ability to do simple math
- proficiency in reading and writing English
- capable of working effectively in a union team environment
- self-motivation and ability to follow simple directions
Job Duties
- Provide janitorial services in restrooms
- sweep, mop, vacuum floors in locker rooms and break rooms
- dispose of trash and perform general housekeeping
- maintain inventory of towels and coveralls
- restock paper products
- manage inventory of cleaning supplies
- mix cleaning solutions according to manufacturer instructions
- comply with all plant safety and governmental regulations
- attend mandatory safety trainings
- perform other duties as assigned
