Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- Must be physically fit to carry, push, or pull 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in an industrial chemical environment
- Must be able to do simple math
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to work with others in a union team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
- Minimum of three years experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or directly related experience or education highly preferred
- Ability to do simple math
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to work well with others in a union team environment
- Self-motivated and able to follow simple directions
Job Duties
- Provide janitorial services in an industrial chemical area including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, and general housekeeping
- Maintain inventory of towels and coveralls and restock paper products
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and mix cleaning solutions per manufacturer instructions
- Adhere to all plant safety and governmental regulations and attend mandatory training
- Perform other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
