Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- capacity to work independently with minimal direction
- must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
- must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
- ability to lift 75 pounds or more
- able to stoop, bend, reach, and pull around casino and restroom areas
- able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without allergic reactions
- able to tolerate secondary smoke
- able to manage several tasks during shift
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
- ability to verbally communicate and write in English
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting money and gaming chips accurately
- basic computer skills
- ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions and problem solve in standardized situations
- knowledge of the hotel and casino industry a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain working areas, tools, and equipment storage areas in a clean and orderly manner
- operate heavy equipment such as power lifts, power washers, sweepers, scrubbers, and sprayers
- clean and sweep paper and debris off floors, garage, and property exterior
- clean and refresh exterior ashtrays and ash urns
- maintain and clean garage areas
- perform cleaning procedures involving blood borne pathogens
- remove trash as assigned
- transport items between areas
- set up functions and special events including moving tables and chairs
- adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
- perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner
