Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid drivers license
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to drive safely and courteously
- physical ability to move vehicles and perform duties
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, road signs, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisor and co-workers
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid drivers license
Job Duties
- Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors and communicating to service personnel of issues with the vehicle
- moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved
- using good judgement and safe driving skills while being courteous to customers
- shuttling customers to their homes, places of business or designated area and then picking them up after their vehicle is serviced in a timely manner
- maintaining the vehicle’s appearance and notifying the manager if the vehicle requires servicing
- other duties as assigned
