Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid drivers license
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to drive safely and courteously
  • physical ability to move vehicles and perform duties

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, road signs, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisor and co-workers
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
  • six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • valid drivers license

Job Duties

  • Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors and communicating to service personnel of issues with the vehicle
  • moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved
  • using good judgement and safe driving skills while being courteous to customers
  • shuttling customers to their homes, places of business or designated area and then picking them up after their vehicle is serviced in a timely manner
  • maintaining the vehicle’s appearance and notifying the manager if the vehicle requires servicing
  • other duties as assigned
