Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100+ lbs
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions including outdoor weather
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night shift on-call emergencies
  • Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs
  • Strong communication skills to exchange information with team members and residents

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in carrying out corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
  • Support the make-ready process of rental units
  • Clean and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas
  • Respond promptly to resident and management maintenance requests
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • Maintain the maintenance shop and adhere to safety and OSHA standards
  • Support hazard communication and safe work practices
  • Participate in unit inspections and report rule violations
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor responsiveness
  • Enforce community policies as delegated
  • Participate in emergency on-call duties as required
