Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to stand for entire shift
- able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, push, stir and pour
- able to read orders and receipts
- frequent hand washing and immersion in cleaning solutions
- willingness to work flexible hours
- ability to follow company policies
- no prior criminal convictions that would hinder employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in fast food or customer service environment helpful
- ability to communicate effectively
- strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Protects and promotes the Whataburger brand at all times
- notifies management with sufficient lead time when unable to report to work
- checks with management prior to leaving the restaurant
- recognizes and communicates customer service problems to management
- attends meetings and training sessions as required
- submits schedule change requests as per management guidelines
- demonstrates Whataburger's family value proposition
- learns and improves job skills as directed
