Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Some custodial or general maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to use a personal smart device for property operations apps and communication
  • Comfortable with basic computer tasks including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor work environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to work a five-day onsite workweek including weekends
  • Capability to perform continuous physical effort including heavy lifting over 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and other strenuous activities
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery or perform physically demanding tasks
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, projects, or on-site work

Job Duties

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the property’s exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, and landscaping
  • Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and restrooms
  • Ensure common areas are stocked with necessary supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, or General Operations Manager
  • Empty all trash receptacles regularly and ensure surrounding areas are clean
  • Assist with removal of bulk trash items and ensure recycling procedures are followed
  • Interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing concerns or directing them appropriately
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as snow and ice removal, leaf blowing, or pressure washing
  • Follow all safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Report any safety hazards immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned
