Job Requirements

  • Operates in a fast-paced work setting both indoor and outdoor
  • Requires ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Requires a five-day onsite workweek including weekends
  • Requires continuous physical effort including heavy lifting over 50 pounds frequent standing walking bending and strenuous activities
  • May require operation of heavy machinery or physically demanding tasks regularly
  • Occasional travel to various locations for meetings projects or onsite work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Some custodial or general maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to utilize a personal smart device for property operations apps and communication
  • Comfortable with basic computer tasks including Microsoft Office Outlook emails
  • Ability to read write and speak English

Job Duties

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the property's exterior areas including sidewalks parking lots courtyards and landscaping by sweeping blowing picking up trash pet waste and removing debris
  • Clean and maintain all common areas including lobbies hallways stairwells laundry rooms fitness centers and restrooms
  • Stock necessary supplies such as toilet paper soap and paper towels in common areas
  • Clean windows doors and other glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor Community Manager or General Operations Manager
  • Empty trash receptacles regularly and assist with bulk trash removal and recycling procedures
  • Interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner addressing concerns and providing assistance
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as snow and ice removal leaf blowing and pressure washing
  • Follow all safety procedures including proper use of personal protective equipment and report hazards immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned
