Job Requirements
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company policy
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level up to 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders
- Ability to be stationary or in motion for extended periods
- Able to lift, pull, push, and relocate up to 50 pounds
- Able to crawl in small and tight spaces
- Able to perform outdoor work in all types of weather
- Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and emergency after-hours calls
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in custodial and maintenance services with generally between 1-2 years of experience
- Superior multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to provide high-level customer service with attention to detail and organization
- Must be a team player
- Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities
- Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Basic computer skills are a plus
- Professional and respectful demeanor with all internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in designated areas including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, painting, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs, and window cleaning
- Remove garbage and recycling from premises and assist in emergency cleaning
- Safely handle cleaning supplies and related chemicals in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Perform the set up and take down of events including tents, tables, chairs, furniture, linens, and stage
- Inspect all assigned areas daily
- Notify supervisor of occurring deficiencies or needed repairs
- Manage emergency cleaning and upkeep requests particularly hazards
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues as requested
- Complete daily work orders as scheduled
- Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment for assigned areas
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
