Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Be reliable, punctual, honest, and have a good attitude
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Ability to keep the property clean and orderly
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary
- Successful completion of on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
- Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff and customers
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks throughout assigned property
- Pick up trash and empty trash containers
- Perform light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces
- Wash windows
- Perform limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and hedges and cleaning snow from sidewalks
- Examine property for safety hazards and report problems to Facilities Manager
- Ensure heating and cooling systems are operational
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
- Modify scope of cleaning and maintenance based on specified needs of the property
- Clean and sanitize fuel pumps
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
