Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- possess a valid driver's license if applicable
- ability to stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs
- great communicator in both written and spoken language
- energetic and outgoing personality
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and resolve customer issues positively
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial services is an advantage
- excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- energetic and physically fit to handle tasks requiring standing, walking, carrying items up to 50lbs, and operating equipment
- friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and coworkers
Job Duties
- perform all cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager or supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility
- sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms, as directed
- empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office
- be responsible for safety and security of company equipment
- report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazard, or any unusual occurrence(s) to the regional and/or account managers in a timely manner
- pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc., as applicable per location
- maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed
- operate necessary equipment for cleaning and maintaining the facility
- shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager if and when needed
- report any known accidents or violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner
