Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Valid driver’s license if applicable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid driver’s license, if applicable
- Energetic, outgoing, and capable of standing, running, and carrying items up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken language
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve customer issues positively
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
Job Duties
- Perform all cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager or supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the facility
- Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails, etc.
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth, and the office
- Responsible for safety and security of company equipment
- Report any known, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazard, or any unusual occurrence to the regional and/or account managers in a timely manner
- Pick-up and delivery of winter supplies, sand, salt, fuel, power equipment, vehicles, etc., as applicable per location
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed
- Operate necessary equipment for cleaning and maintaining the facility
- Shovel, plow, or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager if and when needed
- Report any known accidents or violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner
