Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation due to emergency on-call requirement
  • ability to use general cleaning equipment and tools including hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers and hoses
  • a high school education or equivalent is required
  • ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach forward and overhead, and grasp
  • must be able to bend, crouch or stoop
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and push and pull up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance
  • must have close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus
  • able to work daytime shifts including weekends and on-call as scheduled
  • willingness to work in outdoor weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts
  • ability to maintain professional conduct and follow company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent required
  • college hours preferred
  • ability to use general cleaning equipment and tools such as hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers and hoses
  • reliable transportation due to emergency on-call requirement
  • good physical condition with ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds with mechanical assistance
  • ability to perform all essential functions satisfactorily
  • knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning and maintenance equipment
  • professionalism and ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Maintain an excellent customer service relationship by adhering to company standards
  • work with maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
  • inspect exterior grounds and buildings daily
  • pick up trash on grounds
  • run trash compactor daily including weekends
  • clean mailbox area daily
  • water flowers, plants and shrubs as needed
  • perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning as needed
  • maintain accurate swimming pool chemical records according to state and local requirements
  • pick up trash, straighten and wipe down furniture in pool area
  • assist in upkeep and cleanliness of office, clubhouse and amenity areas
  • maximize curb appeal
  • check and replace light bulbs as needed
  • maintain painting of curbs and speed bumps
  • sweep, blow and pressure wash breezeways, parking lots and common areas
  • keep storm drains free of debris
  • deliver and post correspondence, newsletters and flyers
  • assist in the performance of turn events
  • trash out vacant units
  • perform other duties as assigned
