Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of housekeeping experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings preferred
- Prior maintenance experience a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable performing desk duties
- Experience supporting residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Prior maintenance experience and general maintenance skillset are a plus, including drywall repair and texturing, carpentry, painting, and floor care
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Experience with desk duties
- Experience in resident support
Job Duties
- Operate floor cleaning machines and clean hard surfaces and carpets as directed
- Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition, including empty apartments, common areas, and outside spaces
- Wash, sanitize, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, and sweep all areas of the establishment
- Follow community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and follow established safety precautions
- Report all repair requests or safety hazards
- Laundry duties as assigned
- Ensure that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are always properly stored
- Perform routine building maintenance rounds as directed, completing tasks such as painting, wall patching, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs
- Work within the legal scope of local and state codes
- Respect residents' privacy and preferences while cleaning their living spaces
- Build positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly, respectful interactions
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions
- Follow infection control and sanitation protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of waste
